Le French Dad is a small community French bakery in New Jersey with a focus on handmade baked goods ranging from breads and pastries to sandwiches and fair trade coffees. Starting with nothing, I was contracted to create the brand and identity for the first time bakery owner. I was originally tasked with creating a logo that incorporated the colors of the Italian flag and graphics of the bread and the ingredients. The final mark we landed on speaks to the playful, casual, fresh and authentic essence of the brand while not being overly crowded.
